Age Survey

Four days after the liberation of Korea, the Headquarters of National Classical Music was established on August 19th, which later was responsible for creating Gukakwon. While the Changgeuk movement became active and many organizations emerged, traditional Pansori began to expand into folk tales, unofficial history, and informal stories. This growth was short-lived, however, due to the Korean War. Afterwards, 16 Women's National Classical Dramatic companies emerged and grew popular up until the April 19th revolution of 1960.
